This painting, like Te Horowai, was created after tramping the Mt. Robert Circuit in the Nelson Lakes National Park in 2020.
At Speargrass Creek, I stopped to refill my water bottle and sat on one of the rocks, listening to the flowing water.
Before I knew it, half an hour had passed, and I had to move on to reach Lake Angelus before nightfall.
